Professional Women & Overachievers in Burnout
Therapy available in-person in White Rock and virtually across British Columbia.
“Just because you think it, does not mean it's true.”
- Amy Wasney, MPCC-P
This isn’t what you thought success would feel like…
You’re the one who does it all, keeps everything spinning, and somehow still feels behind. Even when you’re “resting,” your brain is scanning through all the things you should be doing.
You sit down for two minutes, and suddenly every unfinished thing in your life starts waving for your attention… and the guilt comes roaring in.
On the outside, you’re thriving. On the inside, you’re fried, wired, overwhelmed, and questioning whether life is supposed to feel like one endless performance review.
Rest feels like something you have to earn, and even your wins barely register before you’re on to the next thing.
You CAN keep climbing and still catch your breath.
Let’s step into that reality for a second: You sip your latte without drafting emails in your head, and your downtime actually feels like a break. You give your best to your work that day, no guilt, then close the laptop or walk your heels out of the office.
Then, your brain shifts into you mode, where there’s space for real rest, connection, and the parts of you that exist beyond your job title.
You’re showing up fully in your relationships, carving out time for hobbies, friends, and the little joys that make life yours.
Why me?
I get it. I’ve lived the burnout, the anxiety, the over-functioning, and the moments where a glass or two felt like the only off switch.
I blend lived experience with evidence-based therapy because I get what it's like to navigate the depths of perfectionism in a lifestyle that practically demands it.
Sessions feel like a real heart-to-heart in a space for tears, laughter, swearing, and real breakthroughs.
Who this type of therapy is for:
→ Women who struggle to rest unless it feels productive, earned, or justified.
→ Professionals who look successful on paper but constantly wonder why life still feels this hard.
→ Those who run meetings, manage teams, or hit deadlines with ease, yet can’t shut their brains off after hours.
→ Stressed-out ladies who care deeply about their work but want to stop burning themselves into the ground for it.
→ Women who are tired of perfectionism calling the shots and quietly resenting the pressure it creates.
→ Women who want a full life that makes room for ambition, relationships, hobbies, and real joy, not just work.
